Pure water system unit composition and operation

①Quartz sand filter purpose

Suspended substances in quartz sand water are smaller particles. Visible to the naked eye, these particles are mainly composed of sediment, clay, protists, algae, bacteria, and high-molecular organic matter, and are often suspended in water. When tap water passes through quartz sand, it can remove large particles of suspended solids in the water. Activated carbon can remove the fishy smell, moldy smell, and earthy smell or astringent smell emitted by the reproduction and decay of aquatic organisms, plants or microorganisms in the water. , Residual chlorine remaining in disinfectant water. Ensures the normal operation of subsequent systems. The reduction of residual chlorine in the water plays a great role in protecting the softening resin and membrane components, extending the service life of the reverse osmosis membrane and mixed bed. The filler is granular nutshell activated carbon.

②Activated carbon filtration
(Flushing cycle: 1-2 times every 15 days, depending on local water quality)
Rinse method:
a. Put the quartz sand filter: turn the manual multi-way valve to the backwash position (BACK WASH), then open the electric box operation panel (manual/stop/automatic) to manual, and then turn on the front switch. (Note: The high-pressure pump switch is closed)
b. After flushing for 15 minutes, turn the multi-way valve to the FAST RINSE position, flush for 15 minutes, and go back and forth three to five times (after the waste water being flushed is clear and has no suspended solids), turn it to FILTER.
c. For the activated carbon filter, turn the manual multi-way valve to the backwash position (BACK WASH) for 5 minutes, then turn the multi-way valve to the backwash position (BACK WASH).

Go to the FAST RINSE position, rinse for 15 minutes, back and forth three to five times (after the waste water being flushed is clear and free of suspended solids), turn to FILTER.

③PP fine filter
The security filter is the last filtration device before entering the R.O reverse osmosis host. It must ensure that the pollution index SDI of the tap water before entering the reverse osmosis host is stable below 4 4. Since the pure water recovery rate of reverse osmosis devices is generally only 50%~60%. The design water production capacity is 1T/H.
Operating principle:
(a) The PP cotton filter uses a PP cotton filter element with a pore size of 5um. Water penetrates from the outside of the PP cotton and passes through the micropores from the PP.
The central tube on the inner wall of the cotton penetrates out, thereby filtering out tiny impurities that are larger than the pore size.
(b) After PP cotton is used for a period of time, more and more impurity particles are trapped outside the outer hole until it fails. At this time, be sure to replace the filter element, otherwise it will contaminate the subsequent reverse osmosis equipment. The general replacement cycle is 1-2 months (depending on local water quality and water use).

④Maintenance matters
(a) After the precision filter element is used, the impurities trapped in the micropores will become larger and larger until it fails. Please be careful when replacing it at this time. Generally, it is replaced once a month. The replacement frequency depends on the raw water quality and the usage time of the equipment. For the first time, you can regularly check whether the filter element is completely contaminated and needs to be replaced every week. After several repetitions, the appropriate replacement cycle will be determined and continued. go down.
